Wagyu is special because of the amount and distribution of intramuscular fat. You can’t add fat or “juiciness” to a steak, so a very juicy steak is worth the fuss.
Once you grind it though, it’s just ground beef with a high fat content. Same as what you can buy off the shelf at any store. During the grinding process, you are able to easily adjust the amount of fat going in.
So ground wagyu is not different than regular ground beef.

We had snow in our area and other than the stores being empty of bread, milk, and toilet paper there was no ground beef and bottled water. That was new.
